West Launch Difficulty: Medium Elevation: 2550 m From the mountain station, head west towards the hotel. A briefing from the flight school is required. The view includes the 'steilen Zahn' and 20 other peaks over 4000 meters nearby. This is not a cross-country flying area. However, it offers high alpine flying pleasure with pronounced summer thermals (base up to 4500 meters). Difficulty Not suitable for beginners, at least not without a briefing. Summer conditions in the valley can be turbulent. Be mindful of Air Zermatt!
