Description
At an elevation of 1417 meters, this paragliding site is rarely used. It offers soaring opportunities and the potential for small cross-country flights.
To reach the launch site, you need to hike for about an hour northeast from Fondsbu/Eidsbugarden. There is a marked trail leading up both the southern and western sides of the mountain. The summit is a bare mountain with some rocks, providing many suitable and easy launch spots.
For landing, there are several marsh and heath areas below the mountain that can be used. Additionally, the shoreline of Bygdin and some tractor roads are viable options. However, landing near the tourist cabin is more challenging due to numerous cables.
