Description
Nedste Blåfjellssvingen, situated at an elevation of 921 meters, is a rarely used paragliding site known for its soaring and panoramic flights. If Dalsnibba is closed or the cloud cover is too low, you can stop just after the ascent where the road flattens out towards the junction leading up to Dalsnibba. There is a pull-off area on the right side as you go up. Walk across the rocky terrain over a depression in the landscape. It might also be possible to go all the way to the other side if the slope is too steep.
For landing, we used the first fields you encounter after takeoff, which provide easy access to the main road.
This site was only tested on snow during the Geiranger Acro Jam 2016 in mid-May.
