Afternoon launch. About a 10-minute walk west of Kühboden along the road, you will reach the second official launch site at Eggishorn for paragliders: Galfera (2170m, facing south).
This comfortable launch meadow is also used for large flying events such as World Championships. Ideally, at the 'Hüttchen' of the ski lift valley station (next to the launch area), there is a toilet and water available all year round.

From Fiesch, take the cable car to Fiescheralp (Kühboden), then walk west to the launch site. The launch site is a very large, moderately steep meadow. Excellent area for cross-country flights.
