El Carche, located in the southeastern province of Murcia, Spain, offers a maximum altitude of 1371 meters with a height difference of 750 meters. The site is oriented towards the South and West. Access to the site is via the N 301, turning off at km 35 onto the N 334 towards Jumilla. At km 55, take a right onto the C 3213 towards Pinoso, and after 5 km, turn left onto a forest road leading to both the landing and take-off areas. The site is known for its occasional use, primarily for soaring and cross-country flights. However, it is important to note that the area is closed from November 1st to April 1st due to bird nesting season. During this period, flying is strictly prohibited for both paragliders and hang gliders. Outside of this period, a maximum of 10 pilots are allowed to fly at any given time. Pilots must have a valid license and liability insurance, and the site is not to be used for training purposes.
