Description
Mount Seymour in North Vancouver, Canada, offers a medium-difficult paragliding experience with a takeoff elevation of 1375 meters. This site is regularly used, particularly for hike & fly activities starting from the Mount Seymour resort. Alternatively, you can opt for a shorter hike from the top station of the Mystery Peak gondola.
The flying season is mainly in winter and early spring, with good cross-country (XC) potential. The takeoff area is rocky and relatively small, so it requires careful preparation and skill.
For access to the trail, you will need a day pass, which can be obtained here: https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/bc-day-pass-mount-seymour-winter
