Located in the Blenio region of Switzerland, the Dagro flying site offers an elevation of 1520 meters and is considered easy to moderate in difficulty. This site is regularly used and cross-country flights are possible. The site record is 82.0 km. To reach the take-off point, take the cable car and then follow the road behind the restaurant, ascending approximately 100 meters in altitude until you reach the hairpin turn. The launch area is the meadow on the mountain side of the road. Dagro is a lesser-known, picturesque flying area in the Bleniotal that allows for exciting flights and is relatively well-protected from light north winds. However, please note that the launch area is on private land, so it is crucial to be respectful, especially during the vegetation period. Flights from this site offer beautiful views along the mountains in the Bleniotal. Be aware that the valley wind can be very strong at times, adding to the challenge.
