Description
Located in Corvara, Italy, this paragliding site offers a takeoff altitude of 1960 meters with a height difference of 417 meters. It is regularly used for soaring and cross-country (XC) flights, with toplanding being possible. The best seasons to fly here are mainly at the end of the ski season in February and March, as well as from June to September.
Access to the launch site is facilitated by a cable car. The launch areas are situated below the mountain station and are suitable for takeoff from southwest to east directions. Pilots should be cautious of rotor turbulence and check the wind conditions at the mountain station exit before launching.
