Paragliding Chaiserstuel

At an altitude of approximately 2400 meters, this paragliding site in Nidwalden, Switzerland, offers a unique experience. The hike to the launch point from Chruezhütte takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to 2 hours. Although this site is occasionally used and doesn't typically offer particularly long flights, the scenery is exceptionally beautiful. The main takeoff direction is towards the west-northwest, but other options are available. To reach the Chaiserstuel, start from Wolfenschiessen. From there, take the Postauto to Oberrickenbach. A cable car from Oberrickenbach will bring you to Chrützhütte on the Bannalp. From Chrützhütte, follow a wide hiking trail on foot to Bannalper Schonegg and continue to the summit of Chaiserstuel. The summit is a flat meadow, allowing for takeoffs in directions ranging from south to west. After enjoying the views and taking care of your needs, prepare for your flight.
