Description
Located in Italy, the Rosbella launch site offers a takeoff altitude of 1060 meters above sea level. The site is accessible from Boves by following Via Merlat, Via Peroca, and Via Prato del Soglio. You can park your vehicle near the pine forest curve, and from there, it's a flat 3-5 minute walk to the takeoff area. The land is privately owned, so please respect property boundaries.
The wind direction at the takeoff is generally consistent, blowing slightly from left to right, and rarely changes. There are two takeoff points situated next to each other, one of which has a mat below for easier launching.
Landing is in Boves, although there is no official landing zone. The valley below provides numerous safe and easy landing spots. However, it's important to respect private property and local crops.
