Description
At an elevation of 1192 meters, this paragliding site is rarely used but offers a soaring, panoramic flight experience. Located approximately 25 km west of Bismo towards Strynefjell, you need to turn right after the bridge at Billingen (look for the hiking trail sign towards Torsbu). Follow the gravel road to the parking area. From there, follow the trail for 100 meters, then take a right over the bridge and continue uphill. Most of the area is suitable for launching. Alternatively, you can start on the east side of the river, but in that case, you need to leave the main road before the bridge and follow the trail from there. The photo was taken facing south, with the launch site on the ridge to the left on this side of the river.
