Located near Rognes, south of Støren in Sør-Trøndelag, this paragliding site offers a takeoff point known as Bangan. The elevation ranges between 420-430 meters. The site is situated on private property, so it's advisable to seek permission from the owner before flying.
This location is regularly used for thermal soaring, and cross-country flights are possible, though exceptional conditions are rare. Optimal flying conditions occur with light north winds, where you can start in lee thermals.
