Description
Located in the southwest of Poland, the Walbrzych region offers a training ground for paragliding and hang gliding, suitable even for intermediate pilots. The site features a height difference of approximately 70 meters between the takeoff and landing areas.
The hill at Rybnica Le艣na provides two takeoff sites: an older, lower one facing northwest (NW), and a newer, upper one facing north (N). The broad slope allows ample space for ridge soaring, and thermals from the valley enhance the potential for cross-country (XC) flights. The number of XC flights has notably increased since the upper takeoff spot was made available.
