The new low Andrate takeoff, established in 2010, is situated at an altitude of 747 meters with a height difference of 487 meters. It is frequently used due to its proximity to cities like Milan and Turin. This site is suitable for soaring and cross-country (XC) flights, although it is considered less favorable compared to the old takeoff. For more optimal XC conditions, San Giacomo is recommended. The site can be flown all year round.
