This launch site, situated at an altitude of 1545 meters, is rarely used and is considered difficult. It is more commonly utilized for intermediate landings rather than as a primary launch point. There are no landing zones within glide range, making it an irrelevant starting point for most pilots. However, during cross-country (XC) flights, pilots often fly over the Valle Verzasca and the dam below.
