At an altitude of 1900 meters, this launch site is not frequently used. There are no flight logs available for this location, and most pilots prefer to start from higher altitudes.
Access to the site can be achieved either by hiking (walk&fly) or by driving. However, driving requires a narrow vehicle, a 4WD, and a special driving permit, which must be obtained in advance from the municipality of Trin (contact them by phone beforehand).
Be aware that after midday, the valley wind from Chur can reach up to the launch site, potentially disrupting thermals. Therefore, it is advisable to start early in the day.
