This site is regularly used for coastal soaring and coastal cross-country flights.
Region: Spain
Access to the take-off is via a dirt road that starts from the cemetery and passes under the highway. It's best accessed with a 4x4 vehicle, although some regular cars can also make it. There are two landing zones: one on the beach for moderate south-west winds, and another near the cemetery, which is spacious but surrounded by power lines, suitable for strong north winds.

Take-off: The take-off is quite straightforward. However, be cautious of the power line to the right, which ends just before the landing zone.
Top Landing: When landing at the top, be mindful of the electrical tower near the take-off. Approach from the left to avoid the power lines.
The Flight: The flight offers beautiful views due to its proximity to the sea and the town of Aguadulce. It is a typical coastal ridge flight. Note the significant venturi effect to the left of the take-off, but with moderate wind, it should not pose any issues.
Associated Landing Zones: Cemetery, Beach
How to Get There: Coordinates: 36.82383, -2.56943. Take the road that starts from the cemetery. Be aware of the steep incline.
The take-off site is located near Aguadulce, making it a perfect addition to a beach holiday. The Sierra Nevada mountains block bad weather fronts, making Almeria one of the sunniest regions in Europe. With long sandy beaches, Aguadulce is a holiday paradise.
