Description
Located in the Lassithi region of Greece, this paragliding site is occasionally used and offers opportunities for soaring and some cross-country (XC) flights. The launch site is situated on the Lasithi Plateau at an altitude of 1273 meters. To reach the launch, you need to drive for about 10 minutes from Kaminaki and then hike for approximately 30 minutes. The winds are typically from the northwest, north, or northeast.
The site record is 7.8 km. From the launch, you get a panoramic view of the entire plateau towards the north. Landing is flexible and can be done almost anywhere on the plateau.
