Level: Intermediate, Expert Type: Ocean, Lagoon Water type: Shallow, Flat, Chop Water hazards: None Water quality: Crystal clear Infos: Mostly perfect flat water, sometimes little choppy. The lagoon has around 300x100m shallow area. Beach type & size: Sand - Small Infos: 25m grass and then 25m sand, all about 80m long. Land the kites on the water because there are a few trees. Identified hazards: Trees Beachgoer: None Weather specificities: No Wetsuit necessary but maybe shoes would not be bad. Lycra and shorts is perfect. Season is June to September. Air 32C in the shadow. Wind type: Thermal Wind specificities: Almost every day from 8 in the morning till 20:30 in the evening. Wind: 8:00 to 18:00 onshore. 18:00 to 20:30 offshore. In both directions the entry is sideshore. Melthemi: 5-7 Bft (local wind sometimes with thermal support). Thermal wind: upper 3-5 Bft. Every direction works in this lagoon. The wind is extremely gusty. Best months: June, July, August, September Access description: by Car - Fly to Athens airport and take a taxi. Drive to Markopoulo, then Vravrona and Vravrona Bay (a Club Med is there). Transfer 25 min. Car rental is expensive 70,- EUR/day.
