Mainly hard sand, with parts of soft sand. You can drive your car all the way to the water, it's also possible to find a place with no tourists, you can drive like 10km along the coastline. Lots of space to launch and land the kites. The beach can be very crowded in summer, therefore use the surf zone only, here you will find lots of space. If you come from North Jutland go via Esbjerg and take the main road to Ribe and then follow the signs to Rm. When driving over the dam, follow that road all the way to the beach. On the beach turn right and drive to the surf beach. Follow the signs on the beach. Specific rules: Zones Extra: There is a special zone for kitesurfing and windsurfing, please follow the rules due to thousands of tourist on the main beach in the summer period. Don't park your car too close to the water in low tide, as it may gets wet, or in high tide with strong winds. Also don't drive through or stop in soft sand, you will get stuck.
