Infos: Mind the nature reserve area. Flat to choppy water. Lots of shallow water. Tidal. Attention: The current can be very dangerous, especially when the water flow out of the lagoon (from high to low tide). It is the most dangerous with winds from the East. When you're in trouble, the current and the wind will push you out to the sea. So, absolutely nothing for beginners and never ride alone!

Water: May to August fine (a shorty will do), from September to April you need a wetsuit, in December/January it can get cold (around 0C). January to August unpredictable, can be anything. September to December usually cloudy/rainy weather though in this period, especially when there's wind.

Access description: by Car - At the southwest tip of the Rotterdam harbor. Get on N15, then Europaweg and then Westplaatweg. Get to the beach which is facing the south. Across the bay from the 'Autostrand'.

Extra: It is forbidden to kitesurf in the nature reserve area. Please take some time to look at the signs that explain where the boundaries of the reserve are. As this spot is in danger of getting closed permanently.
