Look out for surfers. Beach type & size: Sand - Big Infos: During summer the beach gets very packed. For kiting walk a further north or south of the parking lot. Wind type: Thermal, Frontal Wind specificities: During summer (June to August) you usually have a nice thermal wind (10-20knots) which starts to blow from beginning of the afternoon (with the tide) up to the end of the afternoon. Direction is usually West to Northwest in the afternoon while it's East in the morning. September to October is the blowing season with depression bringing strong wind up to 35-40 knots. Direction is usually West to Southwest. Best months: June, July, August, September, October Access description: by Car - Just north of Biarritz and Anglet. Take Boulevard des Plages, and then in the round about turn left onto Avenue des Terrasses and left again onto Avenue de la Madrague, which ends in the parking lot.
