Infos: There is no tide. It depends on the wind if it's choppy/wavy or not. A few rocks in the water. Take shoes with you - there are many urchins.
Beach type & size: Stones - Small
Infos: The beach is about 20-25m wide. Then there are trees and a small road. It's a stone beach. The beach is a bit small and not the best place for kitesurfing. The area to enter the water is limited by buoys to distinguish the kite area from the swimming area. It is therefore important to be able to stay upwind. It is possible to launch further up the beach, then you will have a long downwinder back to the kitecenter.

Weather specificities: Summer is the best time to go, water 24C, air 30C. A lycra for sun protection is recommended. Spring/autumn you need a wetsuit. In wintertime a long wetsuit.
Wind type: Thermal
Wind specificities: The high season for kitesurfers is from June to middle September with the best winds. Daily 'Meltemi' winds are 4-6 Bft. Autumn/spring has different winds. Not regularly, but stronger. Best in W and SW.

Access description: by Car - It's next to the airport! Take a plane to Rhodos or the ferry to Rhodos town. In Kremasti drive to the beach. Follow the beach and you'll see the kitebeach.
