Infos: The launching spots are in shallow water with sandy sea bottom. Flat or choppy water, depending on the north or south part of the bay. The port police have been placed balloons in the water to close the area to protect 30 swimmers only. This area extend in 2km distance on the beach, where is prohibited for kitesurfers or windsurfers. Port police are very strict for applying this law to kitesurfers or windsurfers but they ignore the kiteschools that are force you to pay for using the water or that they extend their area.

Extra: Please respect the environment. The area around Keros beach is a protected ecosystem. Do not drive on sand dunes or beach, and please do not litter. Kite schools don't leave much space for people who want to kite on their own.
