Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert Type: Ocean Water type: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Small wave Water hazards: Rocks Infos: The spot depends on the tide: at low tide you have very flat water, like a lagoon, and at high tide it is mostly choppy in the middle. At high tide the entry of the Kernic Bay has smooth waves. Beach type & size: Sand - Big Infos: Perfect sandy beach, 3km long. At low tide you have 500m to launch your kite and at high tide remaining 100m of beach. Multiple access and parking from the main road. Weather specificities: 20-30C and sunny during summer. 13C, various weather in autumn and spring. 5C and mostly cloudy during winter. Wind type: Thermal, Frontal Wind specificities: 15 knots thermal wind during summer. Strong during winter. Wind direction from NW to SW all year long. All northbound wind are useful (onshore to sideshore) and the best is NW with 17-20 kts. Best months: January, February, July, August, November, December Access description: by Car - The spot is in the French Brittany. If you go by plane, fly to Brest (35km from the spot). From Brest go in direction of Morlaix and at 20 km from Brest take the direction of Lesneven. From Lesneven proceed direction of Plouescat and when you reach the sea coast, you go through the little forest of Keremma and just after you will find a camping area (only open during summer) with a parking. You can stop there. Now you only have to go beyond the dune and enjoy the famous spot. Specific rules: None Extra: Most famous French Brittany spot. It's perfect to learn, some schools around.
