Weather specificities: Summer is nice and warm. High season a shorty is ok, a few weeks with just shorts is possible. Usually a wetsuit is always needed. Water max 22C in summer, normally around 15C. Winter gets cold, but a thick wetsuit, gloves, mask and shoes make kiting almost year-round possible. Air: summer between 20-30C, spring and fall around 15C.

Wind specificities: Westerly winds with depressions. Best from fall to spring. Summer lighter. Nice NE and E winds in summer, but not very often. NNW is exactly sideshore from the left. Only good in NNW, N, NE and E.

Access description: by Car - From Wismar, get onto B105 towards Grevesmuehlen and turn right in Gaegelow (L01) towards Kluetz. At the crossing in Gramkow turn right (K44) and drive through Beckerwitz to Hohen Wieschendorf. Drive through the village and get to the beach. Parking fees. From Luebeck take BAB 20 to the exit `Grevesmuehlen` and drive to this village. On `Schweriner Landstrae (L03)` straight, then on `Gruenen Weg (L03)` and at the end of `Gruenen Weg` turn left onto Badstueber Bruch (B105). At the first crossing (Hohen Wieschendorf sign posted), drive right on L02 towards Hohen Wieschendorf. Now straight, pass Gramkow and Beckerwitz to Wieschendorf.
