Level: Intermediate, Expert Type: Ocean Water type: Flat, Chop, Small wave, Medium wave Infos: Depending on the wind direction you can have flat, choppy or waves, which can be very big and very clean with NE winds. From the beach about 30m shallow. Beach type & size: Grass, Sand, Pebbles - Small Infos: Small sandy beach with pebbles. Grassy area to pack/unpack your gear. Weather specificities: A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18C (in summer) and can go up to 30C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November. Off-season is possible but very cold. Wind type: Frontal Wind specificities: Best winds in spring and fall. Summer lighter winds, can have nice East winds. Any strength possible with depressions. Best in NE winds. Access description: by Car - From Hamburg or Luebeck drive north on the A1. Exit where it say `Dahme` and keep on following the signs. In Dahme drive to the beach and follow the beach road south to Dahmeshoeved. Access the beach south of the lighthouse. Specific rules: None Extra: Small beach, not good for beginners. Nightlife: No nightlife.
