Tamri - Morocco Tamri features a sandy bottom with rocky sections, offering both right and left-breaking waves. The spot is known for its hollow and powerful surf, consistently producing waves around 1 meter when conditions are flat elsewhere. Caution is advised as rips can become dangerous with swells over 2.5 meters. Located at the mouth of a river, Tamri is a reliable alternative when nearby spots like Taghazout are lacking. The beachbreak benefits from all tide conditions, but be wary of onshore winds from the north that can affect wave quality. While the crowd is typically sparse, localism can be an issue, and strong rip currents pose a risk, especially with swells exceeding 1.2 meters. Access is straightforward, just a short drive from Taghazout, making it a convenient stop for adventurous surfers.
