Jaraguá Main Launch, located in Jaraguá, Goiás, Brazil, is one of the premier cross-country (XC) paragliding sites in the country. This site is highly frequented and renowned for its strong thermals and favorable wind conditions, predominantly from the North-Northeast-East directions. However, it is not recommended for beginners due to the challenging conditions.

Landing: The official landing site is on pasture fields at the bottom of the hill, about 13 km (8 miles) from the ramp. There are numerous alternative landing spots along the roads, facilitating easy retrieval for XC flights.
Best Season: October is the optimal month for flying, although it is possible to fly year-round.

Advantages: The site offers stunning views and excellent opportunities for long-distance XC flights. The ease of pilot pick-up along the highways is a significant advantage.
