Wellfleet, Massachusetts, USA, is a popular paragliding site known for its coastal ridge soaring. The launch site is a 100-foot sand dune, offering a unique experience for pilots. The site is frequently used and is suitable for dune soaring, with the possibility of cross-country (XC) flights. The flyable wind directions are East and Northeast. The site is open for flying from October 2 to April 14. The launch is at an elevation of 140 feet above mean sea level (MSL), and pilots can glide to the landing zone (LZ) either by top landing or landing on the beach. The site has specific rating requirements: H2/P2 pilots must fly with a mentor, while P3 pilots can fly independently.
