This paragliding site in the Western Cape, South Africa, is a short peak located at the southern end of the ridge in front of Misty Cliffs. It is primarily used for hike-and-fly activities and offers good soaring conditions. However, it is rarely used and is considered a sensitive site. For basic pilots, a minimum of 15 flights is required. Permission must be obtained from the new landowner, and it is recommended to go up with a local or the caretaker due to the site's sensitivity. The best wind conditions are from the southwest at 20 km/h. Access to the site is restricted, so it is crucial to ask the landowner or locals for permission and guidance. The site is known for strong winds aloft, so caution is advised. Directions: Take the M5 towards Muizenberg, then turn right and go up Ou Kaapse Weg. At the big four-way intersection in Fish Hoek, turn right towards Kommetjie. Before reaching Kommetjie, take the left turn to Scarborough. In Scarborough village, turn left up the first road that climbs the mountain. Park responsibly and avoid private property on your way up.
