Located north of S. Cruz, a village 15 km from Torres Vedras, this paragliding site is near the Vimeiro Hotel, thermal baths, and a golf course. The launch area is on a cliff that ends before the Vimeiro Hotel at S. Rita Beach. To reach the site, take the road from S. Cruz heading north, turn left at the first intersection onto a road parallel to the coast, passing by the Faraó nightclub. About 1 km further, there is a dirt and sand path marked with logs on the sides. The launch site is approximately 100 meters from this point. The Vimeiro Hotel is visible from both the launch site and the road. The elevation difference is about 40 to 50 meters. The launch area is a flat terrain at the top of the cliff, to the left of the parking lot where the dirt path ends. It is easily identifiable and suitable for schools and beginner pilots. Flying conditions are optimal with NW winds starting from 17 km/h. This area is popular when conditions are favorable, so finding company is not difficult, even during weekdays. Top landing is straightforward under normal flying conditions, and there is a large beach extending along the cliff for landing. Be cautious during high tide as the beach can become narrow in some areas. Access from the beach to the parking lot or launch site is easy and takes about 5 minutes on foot.
