There are two main routes to reach the launch site at Vrše from Cerkno: 1. **Route via Novaki and Ski Center Cerkno:** - From Cerkno, head towards the village of Novaki, following signs for Ski Center Cerkno in Črni Vrh. - Continue to the sign pointing towards Železniki and follow it to the saddle where there is parking for Ski Center Cerkno. - Take the only road that turns left and upwards, leading over a mountain crest to the saddle called Razpotje (crossroads). Follow the signs to the mountain Porezen. - Continue straight on the road that ascends towards a farm at the forest edge, then proceed through the shady side of the crest to Vrše. - The lower launch site is on the left side of the exposed crest in the SW direction, about a 15-minute walk upwards. The upper launch site is on the upper plateau, ending with a steep slope. 2. **Shortcut via Poce:** - From Cerkno, take the road towards the village of Poce, heading north. - Follow the road signs to Poce, where a well-marked footpath to Porezen begins. It takes about an hour to reach the launch sites. - Pass the fire station, located about 150 meters from a small parking area, and take the road that turns right behind a house. - After a series of short ascents and descents, reach the main road and avoid smaller paths leading into the woods. - At the crossroads, take the sharp left and upwards path leading to the saddle with a sign for Planinska Koča (mountain hut). From here, it’s a 30-minute walk. - Continue through the woods via a path ending at the farm 'Pr Brejcu', then turn left and ascend steeply for about 2 km to reach the Razpotje crossroads.
