Located at an elevation of 1760 meters with a height difference of 950 meters, this paragliding site in Italy is suitable for experienced pilots only. It is occasionally used and offers soaring opportunities with some potential for cross-country flights. Takeoff is possible only with some wind, and access to the site is facilitated by a cable car. On thermally active days, it is recommended to fly on the south side of the mountain. The best takeoff spot is the south launch site near the summit cross, but only if there is sufficient updraft. From the north launch site, pilots can fly left around the mountain to easily reach the west or south side. There are no takeoff options towards the northeast, and the launch site near the summit cross facing south is suitable only for skilled paragliders. A beautiful pilgrimage site is located at the summit, offering accommodation options. For soaring in strong east winds, the neighboring mountain to the west is recommended. However, it may not be possible to return to the landing site at the valley station, so landing in the valley near Valbruna is an alternative.
