The small landing area is suitable for paragliders but not recommended for hang gliders. The long distance between the take-off and landing zones should be noted. Hang gliders have a large landing area available in Riol, approximately 3 km away, so early departure from the slope is advised. License: B-License required Guest Flight Regulations: All site permits are restricted to members only. Guests must acquire a day or annual membership. No additional take-off or landing fees are charged, and the guest membership allows for unlimited flights in one day. A guest card can be obtained on-site from a club member for a fee of €5. Special Note: There is a cooperation between the Moselfalken and DFC-Trier clubs. Start fees are free for members of Moselfalken (with club ID) and DFC Trier (with helmet sticker). Day memberships can only be acquired through DFC Trier. Take-off: Wide ramp. A safe reverse launch is recommended for paragliders as an aborted launch is not possible. Launch is only permitted from the ramp. Access: Take exit 131 (Mehring) from the Autobahn, then continue towards Mehring. From the Park&Ride parking lot, turn left into the forest after approximately 400 meters and follow the path for about 1 km.
