Take off: The take-off area is a flat, grassy spot located in front and to the right of the RTE Transmitter. You can access it via a road leading to the gates of the transmitter, followed by a dirt road that runs across the top of the ridge. The site offers a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. For a higher take-off, you can climb further up the hill, reaching above 200 meters. Landing: Landing is parallel to the main road N56 to Portnoo and Naran. Some flat fields without obstructions are available for landing. Going there: From Donegal town, follow the N56 road, which takes a long route through Ardara and leads into Glenties. Continue on the N56 towards Naran. Near a petrol station on the right side of the road, take the Loughcrillan road uphill until the first T-junction. Take a left and follow the road until the end, where you will find yourself right outside the gates of the transmitter.
