This site, located in North Wales, UK, offers a unique paragliding experience with an elevation of 275-300 meters. It is occasionally used and is known for its coastal soaring opportunities and potential for some cross-country flights. The scenery is stunning, and toplanding is possible. However, landing options below can vary depending on the tide. The takeoff point is on the north side of the wall near the Telecoms mast (not the radar dome), and it is accessible by car. The best wind direction for this site is WNW. The grid reference for the site is SH350444. The takeoff height is 300 meters, with a top-to-bottom height difference of 300 meters. The site record for the region is 11.0 km. The area features a series of hills and cliffs divided by a narrow valley, providing a large area for panoramic coastal soaring. Pilots can make a few 'jumps' and explore the surroundings. However, there have been several incidents of Buzzard attacks, so caution is advised. Important considerations: - Do not drive down the private road past the takeoff car park. - Avoid landing by the buildings at the bottom. - Be aware that there is no beach at high tide. - There is no sea-level route back from Trefor to Nant Gwrtheyrn. - Watch out for power lines. - Rotor can occur during top landing.
