The flying area is located in environmentally sensitive zones. The launch site is in a forest clearing with a very steep slope and rocks. Wind indicators are available. Landing Zone / Windsock: Paragliders land in the village of Bodenmais, in the meadows above the spa. It is essential to inspect the landing site beforehand due to the slope and nearby houses. Wind indicators are available. Hang gliders land in the meadows near the Joska Glass Factory outside Bodenmais. Type of Launch / Suitable for: Launch in the forest clearing is suitable for both hang gliders and paragliders. The clearing has been cleared of trees.
