This site, with an elevation of 480 meters, is rarely used and primarily serves local soaring enthusiasts. It offers various takeoff options and is open for use. The wind direction is optimal between 250-340 degrees. The site is frequented by a local paragliding school and works best when the wind is from the WNW direction. It serves as a good alternative if Cemmaes is not flyable. Due to its proximity to the sea, breaking away can be challenging because of the sea breeze, but it has excellent potential for cross-country flights under the right conditions. Summer evenings sometimes bring restitution or 'magic' lift conditions. Access and parking are restricted; only the local school has permission from the farmer to drive beyond the obvious parking area. Please respect this rule. The usual takeoff is from a plateau halfway up the hill. In light winds, launching from the summit may be preferable, although space is limited. Bottom landing is extremely easy, but be cautious of hidden rocks and sheep feeders in the rushes. This is a training site, so please give priority to the local school.
