This is a fantastic spot for dune soaring in Denmark. However, please verify if starting directly from this location is currently allowed, as there are rumors that parking directly here might be prohibited. An alternative is to park at Transvej 18 and walk down, or use the Trans Kirk takeoff. The site has a height of 10-20 meters and a length of 3500 meters. The site record for this location is 17.1 km. For a more peaceful experience, there are various cliff launch options further south. Be aware of rotor effects and ensure you are familiar with handling them. In strong winds, soaring in front of the flat, forelying dunes is also possible. Sometimes, due to small vortices, it is better to lay out your wing behind the small dike rather than at the edge, as the canopy will rise more easily.
