Description
Hogstfelt, with an elevation of 742 meters, is a launch site that offers good potential for distance flights. It is situated in the core area of glider pilots and is also the Army's new shooting range. Occasionally used for thermal soaring, it can sometimes be suitable for cross-country (XC) flights. Notably, in 1998, the longest flight in the Nordic region was recorded here, reaching SĂ€len in Sweden.
