The flying site is situated at an elevation of 571 meters above sea level, with a height difference of 409 meters. It offers opportunities for soaring and small cross-country flights. The site has a new large landing area near Mausettvegen, suitable even for hang gliders. However, be cautious of the high-voltage power lines at the upper part of the landing area, which are scheduled to be buried underground by the end of 2009. For paragliding, the launch area has been cleared as of May 2, 2009. It offers ample space and is suitable for pilots from the student level, including tandem flights.
