Located on the slope of Einberg in the Lammertal region, this paragliding site offers an elevation of 1039 meters with a height difference of 206 meters. It is occasionally used but provides excellent training grounds under the right conditions, especially due to the customizable launch height. Springtime offers good opportunities for cross-country flights. One of the advantages is the quick return to the top after landing. However, long-distance flights are rare. Caution is advised with regional south winds. In south and southwest conditions, a geologically induced east wind can prevail. While thermals often bring the wind from the front, the east wind can push into the valley during south conditions, which is extremely dangerous. The best flying conditions are with light WSW, W, NW winds. With stronger NW to N winds, the lower part of Einberg is usually flyable, but strong turbulence can occur at ridge level. This launch site is situated at approximately 1000 meters and is also used by the Abtenau Flight School for training. Good cross-country conditions are expected from March to June, with high thermal potential from around 1300 meters. Climb rates over 5 m/s are not uncommon in this area. The flying season runs from May to October, with no access to the launch site in winter. Guest pilots are only allowed to fly with the flight school's approval. There are no launch or landing fees.
