This site offers a small cliff launch over the Kåhög community, historically used for paragliding. Landing options include the large fields across the railway or an emergency landing directly below the launch site. The launch area is tight with a rotor further back, making it challenging to inflate your wing. Expect strong thermals during the day. Pilots should be at least P2 level to fly here. Directions: Drive to the top of the mountain through the community. At the end of Övre Östegårdsvägen, there is a parking area. Follow the trails until you reach the southwest side of the mountain, then follow the cliff edge until you reach the launch site. The trails are poor and it's easy to get a bit lost, so it's best to enter the coordinates into your GPS (57.74861111, 12.15833333). An alternative route is to follow the path along the eastern side of the mountain by the field. When you come across a gap, like a trail in the forest, go straight up there.
