Located in Namibia, just north of Hentiesbay and the mouth of the dry Omaruru River, this paragliding site offers a unique dune soaring experience. The dune stands at approximately 15 meters high and stretches for about 2,500 meters. Depending on the wind conditions, you can follow the dune's path for several kilometers to the north. The site offers various launch options, making it accessible for pilots with different skill levels. The flying conditions are straightforward, although the lift band can be narrow. For those who can manage slope landings, intermediate landings are not an issue. Soaring conditions here are excellent, allowing for hours of flight when the wind is favorable. The area is easily accessible by turning towards the sea where the C34 and C35 roads meet, just north of Hentiesbay.
