Doi Bu Mountain

Langbiang Luang Biang Da Lat

Langbiang is a mountain located approximately 15 km north of Dalat in South Vietnam. It offers two takeoff points near the radio antenna: one facing southwest (SW) and the other southeast (SE). The SW takeoff is spacious, allowing multiple gliders to be laid out simultaneously. The SE takeoff, however, is much smaller and can barely accommodate one XS wing. Be cautious at the SE takeoff due to potential rotor effects immediately after launch, making it suitable only during the NE Monsoon season when the wind direction is more favorable.
