The long hill on your right side is the site. Take Valayat Street on your right side. At the cemetery, turn left. 300 meters away, you will reach the landing area. If you arrive around 6 pm and the wind speed is high enough and from the north, you will see friends flying and ridge soaring. To get to the top of the hill, you can walk up or ask local people for directions to drive there. Comments: When the wind is from the north and has medium-high speed, the site is excellent for ridge paragliding. Sometimes, pilots stay gliding for up to 3 hours, experiencing lots of adrenaline. Access to the site is facilitated by private taxis and vans that transport pilots from Bandar Abbas to the landing zone. The roads to all takeoff sites are well-maintained with good asphalt. Camping facilities near the Takavar site include cottages, pure water tanks, and washrooms. There are also small shops close to the landing area. For those interested in local tourism, Bandar Abbas offers 4 and 5-star hotels, restaurants, museums, shrines, mosques, a traditional fish market, and various historical sites. Weather conditions are optimal for paragliding from mid-September to April, with cooler temperatures and favorable conditions for thermalling, ridge soaring, and cross-country flights. However, from May to August, the weather is hot and humid, with gusty winds around noon. Pilots should contact local authorities one month prior to their departure for coordination.
