At an elevation of 756 meters, this launch site in Ghana is rarely used but is one of the few proper takeoff points in the country. It is notably the well-prepared launch site for the annual Easter Ghana Paragliding Festival. You can watch a video of the event here: http://vimeo.com/23365596. For more details on the festival, visit these links: [Ghana News Agency](http://www.ghananewsagency.org/human-interest/tourism-minster-okays-preparedness-for-2015-paragliding-87714) and [Nkonkonsa](https://nkonkonsa.com/2023-kwahu-paragliding-festival-launched/). The takeoff area spans approximately 500 meters from top to bottom and is specifically built for the Ghana Paragliding Festival, ensuring excellent quality. The launch area experiences light wind conditions, even when there is good wind up the face due to the cliff below the launch. A forward launch is recommended. The launch is narrow with tall trees on either side, necessitating a straight launch path.
